Datin Dr. Hajah Sabariah Faridah's passion for early childhood education ignited during her tenure as a volunteer teacher at an Islamic English kindergarten in Ottawa while pursuing her Chemistry degree at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Dedicated to fostering educational opportunities, she actively assisted entrepreneurs, associations, and communities in establishing Islamic kindergartens across Malaysia. In January 2003, Datin Dr. Hjh Sabariah Faridah, along with her husband, Datuk Haji Roslan Nordin, founded their own kindergarten, initially named Little Caliphs Kindergarten. However, due to Ministry of Education naming regulations, it became Tadika Rama Rama Bistari. Drawing from extensive experience and insights gained through research, courses, hands-on involvement, and divine inspiration, the founders utilized their kindergarten as a testing ground for a revolutionary pre-school program – The Little Caliphs Program® (TLCP). Haji Roslan Nordin, the business author, and Hajjah Sabariah Faridah, the academic author, synergized their roles to establish TLCP as a pioneering approach to early childhood education. Originally marketed by ILM Marketing since 2003, Little Caliphs International Sdn Bhd was officially incorporated on January 6, 2010, marking a significant milestone in the founders' vision to propel TLCP onto the international stage. Through continuous research, hands-on involvement, and invaluable feedback, TLCP has evolved into a globally recognized program, shaping the foundation of young minds with excellence and Islamic values.
