Tentang Melewar Steel Tube Sdn Bhd

Melewar Steel Tube Sdn Bhd ("MST"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mycron Steel Berhad, was incorporated on 24th February 1969, as a Malaysian-Japanese joint venture into the steel pipe manufacturing industry.

In January 1970, the company began its very first production with only a single production line at its factory in Jalan Pasir Gudang, Shah Alam. Within two years, the company expanded its operations through the establishment its second factory on a 7-acre site in Shah Alam. In 1982, the company commemorated the opening of its third factory at Persiaran Selangor, Shah Alam. MST's corporate headquarters was built in 1990 at Lot 53, Persiaran Selangor, Shah Alam.

At present, MST has an installed capacity of 148,800 metric tonnes per annum with the ability to manufacture pipes ranging from 10mm to 400mm O.D. MST’s products are widely used in the construction, furniture, automotive, bicycle, and engineering industries. After more than five decades of experience in the steel pipe industry, the brand MIG-MELEWAR and AURORA Conduit spells quality, having made its name in the steel pipe industry where its products are highly acclaimed by both local and international consumers.
