About NIPPON KAIJI KYOKAI CLASSNK (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD

Nippon Kaiji Kyokai Classification of Ships Berhad, is established to support and promote in Malaysia the objectives of Nippon Kaiji Kyokai, an internationally recognized society registered under the provisions of the Civil Code of Japan and recognized by the Japanese Government as a non-profit organization.

As a Classification society, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai, better known as ClassNK or simply NK, develops rules for safeguarding vessels, their crews, and the marine environment.

In order to help ensure the safety of the ships on our register, ClassNK provides a full range of survey, auditing, and consulting services, including classification and statutory surveys, material and equipment approvals, auditing and registration of ship safety management systems, as well as certification of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems in accordance with international standards.
