Tentang OPS Paper Products Sdn Bhd

OPS Paper Products Sdn Bhd was established in December 2014. However, our journey to where we are today began way back to 1980s. Starting out as Seremban Fibre Containers Sdn Bhd, we became part of Scientex Berhad’s subsidiary company in 1994. The company was renamed to Scientex Containers Sdn Bhd; and subsequently became known as Scientex Industries Group Sdn Bhd “SIG” (Carton Plant).

OPS Paper Products Sdn Bhd acquired SIG Carton Plant in March 2015, followed by Oriental Paper Core Sdn Bhd and Oriental Rising Sdn Bhd in April and November 2015 respectively.

Although we expanded our product portfolio to include paper core products, we continued to focus on the manufacturing of corrugated carton boxes, which is the company’s major business portfolio.

The acquisition of the two paper core product companies was a part of our strategy to integrate all our paper packaging solutions under one entity. This strategic exercise allowed us to achieve operational and cost efficiency whilst enabling us to address the niche market segments too.
