About Persatuan Kesedaran Komuniti Selangor (EMPOWER)
Persatuan Kesedaran Komuniti Selangor (EMPOWER) is a group of people who believe that they can help build a more democratic society in Malaysia.We also run an internship programme. This programme gives the intern an idea of the day-to-day life in an organisation working to promote a society with equality for all; where women and the youth can fully participate in making decisions in all aspects of their lives. Many of our interns have joined us as members and have gone on with a strong sense of rights and justice.
We at EMPOWER offer an internship experience for students who are keen to learn the ropes of the NGO world, apply their knowledge and gain an over-all valuable experience to bring to the workforce. Our interns are our top priority, and we make sure to tailor an internship program that caters to our interns’ interests as well as field of knowledge. Recently, we were honoured to have a team of Diploma in Multimedia students from The One Academy.
