Privanet Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Airocom Technology Sdn Bhd) was established on 15 November 1999 as a software application developer and integrator specializing in Short Message Services (SMS) solutions. Today, Privanet has emerged as a mobile and wireless communication division under the Privasia Technology Berhad group of companies, and supported by two subsidiary units, Privanet Distribution Sdn Bhd. and Airoport.com Sdn Bhd.

We obtained the prestigious Multimedia Super Corridor or MSC status from the Malaysian Government in 2000, and began our Research & Development in developing telco-grade products for the mobile service operators, particularly for the SMS Gateway platform, its contents development and mobile service provisioning. Having developed a strong partnership with all the mobile operators and enterprise alliances, we extended our service offerings by venturing into wireless communication solutions and increased our presence as a wireless infrastructure solution provider.
