Founded in New Zealand in 1990 by Sally Synott, Pumpkin Patch started as a mail order catalog. Over the years, we have grown into a renowned childrenswear retailer, valued at over $NZ830 million at its peak. With a workforce of over 2,000, we operated 180 stores across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Ireland, the Middle East, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

As of 2010, Pumpkin Patch boasted 48 stores in New Zealand, including 18 in Auckland, showcasing our commitment to providing quality clothing for children.

In 2014, the industry landscape became more competitive, leading to declining revenues and margin compression. Despite challenges, Pumpkin Patch remained resilient. By 2015, we had actively contributed to raising $NZD600,000 for Cure Kids, a children's medical charity.

In 2015, Pumpkin Patch received accolades for outstanding customer service. A Roy Morgan survey recognized us for providing the best customer service in the children's clothing category among Australian consumers. Essential Baby Magazine also honored us with a customer service award in the same year.
