SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn Bhd is a leading solar glass manufacturer based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and a proud subsidiary of Kibing Group—one of the largest and most advanced glass manufacturers in Asia.

Founded in 1988 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011, Kibing Group has grown into a world-renowned photovoltaic glass research and manufacturing conglomerate. With more than 10,000 employees, the Group operates 26–29 high-quality float glass production lines with a total daily melting capacity of 17,600 tons, making it a leader in global glass production.

In 2022, Kibing Group invested over RM 2–3.1 billion to establish SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn Bhd at KKIP Industrial Park, Sabah. This project focuses on manufacturing downstream products of silica sand and photovoltaic glass, strengthening Malaysia’s role in the global renewable energy supply chain. The Sabah factory is expected to create 1,800–2,500 job opportunities, contributing to local economic growth and talent development.
