Responsibilities
- Review customer enquiries, RFQs, technical specifications, and drawings.
- Prepare quotations, cost estimations, and commercial proposals.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and lead-time information.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather technical and costing information.
- Prepare BOMs and costing calculations.
- Analyze project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain quotation records and supporting documentation.
- Support tender submissions and customer clarification requests.
- Follow up on quotation status and support the sales process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Graduates, no related experience are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with experience in quotation, estimation, project coordination, technical sales, or engineering roles are welcome to apply.
- Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Engineering background with an interest in commercial and costing functions.
- Comfortable working with numbers and technical information.
- Organized and able to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
- Able to communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
