Red Beanbag is an independent Malaysian cafe and coffee roastery with deep roots in the Australian cafe culture. We first opened in Publika, Kuala Lumpur, way back in 2011 with the dream of bringing the Aussie brunch experience to our beloved home city.

In the decade since then, our passion for specialty coffee, good food and family-focused service has only grown, and our new home at Menara Mudajaya, Mutiara Damansara (just a stone's throw from IPC and The Curve) has allowed us to make our dreams for a true community-based cafe that serves the needs to families, particularly parents and young children, in the context of 21st-century urban needs and ideals. Especially since the pandemic, we work, play, live, learn, and teach in the same space -- and often a whole lot more. Serving these needs and being a relevant part of this community is what continues to inspire us in everything we do--bringing the best that we can offer to all who walk through our doors!
