Full Time Project Executive (Interior Design) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in Eco Interiors International Selangor - Maukerja

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Executive (Interior Design) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed according to approved designs, project schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring interior design and fit-out projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, work progress, material deliveries, and site activities to ensure timely completion.
• Work closely with the Interior Design, Quantity Surveying (QS), Procurement, and Project Teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Follow up with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on project requirements, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Prepare project progress reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documentation.

2. Site Supervision & Implementation

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate on-site activities and follow up on issues related to workmanship, materials, and installation.
• Identify site issues, delays, or discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
• Ensure completed works meet the required quality standards and approved design intent.
• Assist in conducting site inspections, defect checks, and rectification follow-ups.

3. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments on project-related matters.
• Attend site meetings and project coordination meetings, providing updates on progress, issues, and outstanding matters.
• Coordinate design changes, site instructions, and project requirements with the relevant teams.
• Maintain good working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, site reports, progress updates, material submissions, and meeting minutes.
• Assist in tracking project timelines, variations, material approvals, and outstanding works.
• Coordinate with the QS and Procurement Teams on material requirements, quotations, purchase orders, and variation orders where necessary.
• Support project handover documentation and ensure outstanding defects are followed up and resolved.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in interior design, interior fit-out, design & build, or project coordination.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of interior design drawings, construction details, materials, and site implementation.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering/design software, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling or reporting tools.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, meet project deadlines, and work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Willing to travel to project sites and attend site meetings when required.
• Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
