Full Time Senior Building Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in Majumerit Property Management Melaka - Maukerja

Job Descriptions

1. Scope of Work

Covers daily technical coordination, preventive/corrective maintenance, M&E troubleshooting, inspections, contractor monitoring, records, defects, testing/commissioning and guidance of technicians.

2. Key Responsibilities

a) Assist in supervising and coordinating the building technical team and daily work assignments.

b) Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot M&E equipment and building-system faults.

c) Conduct regular inspections of plant rooms, equipment, common areas and facilities.

d) Attend breakdowns, technical complaints and emergency calls promptly.

e) Monitor contractors carrying out technical works and report non-compliance or defects.

f) Maintain maintenance checklists, service records, daily work records and technical reports.

g) Assist with testing, commissioning, defect inspection and rectification works.

h) Guide junior technicians and ensure proper safety and work procedures are followed.

i) Support installation/modification of M&E systems and recommend improvements or cost-saving opportunities where appropriate.

j) Escalate major or recurring technical issues promptly to the Facility Manager / A4 Chargeman.

k) Assist with preparation of monthly technical/performance reports.

l) Work shifts and respond to emergencies as required and perform other related duties assigned by the superior.

3. Key Skills & Attributes

a) Strong hands-on troubleshooting knowledge.

b) Ability to lead and guide technicians.

c) Good technical documentation and communication skills.

d) Strong teamwork, discipline and safety awareness.

4. Requirements / Qualifications

i. Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or related technical field.

ii. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on high-rise building maintenance experience with proven leadership capability.

iii. Must be able to lead and supervise the Building Technicians, coordinate daily technical works and respond effectively to breakdowns and urgent technical situations.
iv. Available to commence work in December 2026. Immediate hiring.

6. Working Relationship

• Reports to the Facility Manager / A4 Chargeman.
• Guides Building Technicians and coordinates with contractors/service providers.
• Works closely with the site operations team during complaints, defects and emergencies.

General Clause: The employee may be required to perform other duties reasonably related to the position and operational requirements as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

• Melaka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
