JOB DESCRIPTION
A global metals and mineral trading MNC are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to join their finance team.
The Senior Accounts Executive will manage
full-set accounting
and finance operations, including accounts payable processing. You will perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, preparing and posting journal entries, perform ledger balance reconciliations, develop budgets and forecasts, prepare management reports, and assist with audit.
This is an excellent opportunity for an independent and detail-oriented accountant to gain exposure to complex commodity trading financials within a highly established global firm.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a Professional Certificate (ACCA/CPA or equivalent)
3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with full-set experience
Experience with full sets of accounts, bank reconciliation, GST filing
Experience with major ERPs such as SAP is advantageous
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Previous experience with the commodities industry is preferred
