Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
- Strong understanding of Quantity Surveying procedures and full QS job scope
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Proficient in AutoCAD or relevant design software
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Good communication, negotiation and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and review BOQ and quantity take-offs
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations and tender documents
- Conduct tender evaluation and comparison
- Prepare and evaluate Variation Orders (VO)
- Prepare and verify progress claims
- Manage final accounts
- Monitor and control project costs
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers on commercial and contractual matters
*Perform other QS duties related to the project
IMPORTANT:
Preference will be given to candidates with solid QS experience and a strong understanding of the full QS job scope. Candidates requiring basic training are not encouraged to apply.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
