Science Lab Assistant

• Salary: $2,400/month
• Contract Duration: 2 years
• ️ Contract Period: January 2027 – December 2028
• Working Hours: 42 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a school.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Procurement and lesson-support experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures is an advantage.
• First-aid training is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and procure materials for Primary 3–6 Science lessons.
• Verify lesson materials and conduct experiment trials when required.
• Ensure equipment is ready and support safe laboratory practices.
• Maintain the cleanliness, equipment, chemicals and inventory of Science Rooms.
• Maintain laboratory logs, monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment, stocktaking and purchase claims.
• Manage the school front desk, greet visitors and respond to enquiries.
• Answer phone calls and perform other duties as assigned.
