The Import/Export Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for providing efficient and proactive operational support for international freight forwarding activities, including air freight, sea freight, import, export and customs clearance operations. The role ensures shipments are processed accurately, comply with regulatory requirements, and are delivered according to customer expectations while maintaining excellent service standards.

• Coordinate import and export shipment operations for air and/or sea freight.
• Prepare, verify and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, permits, invoices and customs declarations.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment data entry into freight forwarding systems. • Monitor shipment milestones and provide shipment status updates.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, customs authorities, transport providers, overseas offices and vendors. • Arrange customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Coordinate transport, cargo release and delivery arrangements.
• Verify shipping documents before shipment release.
• Follow up on shipment exceptions, delays, damaged cargo and operational issues.
• Support invoicing, billing verification and resolution of invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate operational records and comply with company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
