Requirements
Position Function (Modify to Facility)
Install, test, inspect, maintain, and repair electric lights, power distribution circuit controls, and appliances throughout the buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Receive work orders and coordinate work to fit schedule as assigned by Lead Electrician.
- Estimate time and materials required on work order.
- Maintain facility nurse call system, paging, mechanical alarm and medical gas alarm systems.
- Repair electric motors, controllers and other auxiliary electrical devices.
- Make emergency repairs to medical equipment.
- Install new wiring and electrical machinery; work from prints and diagrams to determine layout, location, and specifications of items to install.
- Bend and install conduit.
- Install concealed wiring.
- Isolate and repair defective circuits as required.
- Dismantle electrical machinery and break connections; replace defective parts; reassemble, and test for proper operation.
- Check and repair lighting systems.
- Maintain and repair central clock system.
- Inventory stock, and requisition supplies to maintain adequate supply.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.
- Maintain CCTV cabling system throughout the facility when noted, and troubleshoot the system to determine where problems or damage may have occurred.
- Assist the fire alarm testing company, as needed, to maintain facility fire alarm system.
- Read blueprints.
- Have good communication skills.
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering Or Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia
- 1-2 years working experience as electrician or wire-man
- AO Chargeman certification will be an advantageous
