Full Time Funds Lawyer (Senior Associate-Counsel) Jobs, in Taylor Root - Maukerja

An international law firm is looking to hire a Senior Associate/Counsel to join their Funds team. You will be working on all aspects of Funds, from fund formation/structuring to downstream investment transactions, providing regulatory advice and working with fund managers/investors. The partners advise on a broad range of asset classes and investment vehicles, such as PE/VC, data centres, private credit, closed-end funds. This is a role with strong progression opportunities and a newly created role to support the growing workload. It is ideal for a strong executioner who is looking for a long-term growth pathway within practice.

Requirements:

• Strong academics
• Singapore Qualified, 6+ PQE (Junior partners in local law firms are welcome to apply as well).
• Prior experience with Funds (Fund Formation, Fund Regulatory, downstream VC work etc) is essential
• Strong executioner who is able to independently run files day-to-day and mentor the associate pool
• Comfortable with working across multiple jurisdictions, as the files are often cross-border in nature
• Strong communication skills, legal analytical ability and an interest in business development
