Strategic Pillar 2 — Partnerships & External Ecosystem

Own the overall performance framework of the GCC, building Opella's reputation and influence across government, academia, industry forums, and the Global Capability Centre community.

Strategic Pillar 3 — People

Develop a high-performing & engaged workforce, and inclusive workplace in partnership with People & Culture (P&C) that support sustainable growth.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and connector to functional & global leaders, facilitating collaboration, knowledge sharing, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Connect leaders with internal and external benchmarks, leading practices, and ecosystem insights that support capability growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Global Functional Leaders, Transformation, and Transition teams to identify opportunities for capability expansion and support the successful onboarding, integration, and stabilization of new activities within the Centre.
  • Support the continued growth and evolution of the Centre through capability expansion, strategic investments, ecosystem partnerships, and talent development.
  • Ensure effective governance, risk management, compliance, and business continuity practices across the GCC.

Partnerships & External Ecosystem

  • Act as the primary ambassador for Opella's GCC across government, academia, industry forums, and the Global Capability Centre ecosystem.
  • Build strategic partnerships that strengthen Opella's reputation, enhance talent pipelines, and support innovation, capability development, and growth opportunities.
  • Position Opella as a recognized participant and thought leader within the Global Capability Centre community.
  • Leverage external benchmarking and market insights to strengthen the Centre's competitiveness and maturity.
  • Strengthen Opella's employer brand and external visibility across the country and the region.

People

  • Partner with People & Culture to define and execute the Centre's people, leadership, and workforce strategy.
  • Build a sustainable talent pipeline through workforce planning, capability development, succession planning and retention strategies that support sustainable growth.
  • Champion a high-quality onboarding and integration experience for new and transitioning employees.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, collaboration, and high performance across the Centre.
  • Support leadership development while reinforcing Opella's culture, values, and employee experience across the Centre.
