Equipment Technician
Semiconductor |12-Hour Shifts |Tai Seng|Chai Chee|Changi
If you fresh graduate or have an ITE certificate, and you actually enjoy figuring out why a machine is not behaving, keep reading. This job puts you on the equipment systems that keep semiconductor chip testing running around the clock, which is equipment most technicians in Singapore never get the chance to work on.
We will teach you the machine know-how, and because you are stationed at our customer's production site, you will also pickup how a real semiconductor production floor runs. You bring the hands-on attitude.

Polytroniks is a Singapore engineering company that sells, installs and services equipment chillers for the semiconductor industry. Our customers are chip makers and test houses who cannot afford downtime, so they rely on us to keep their production testing equipment cold, stable and running.
We are a small, close-knit team, which means you will not be a number. You will work directly with senior engineers, and our founder brings over 30 years of semiconductor equipment experience. If you want to learn, there is no shortage of people here willing to teach you.

WHATYOU WILL DO
•
Keep the line running:
carry out scheduled maintenance on production testing equipment and its refrigeration chillers so the customer's floor stays up.
•
Solve problems:
troubleshoot, repair and fine-tune equipment when something goes wrong, and find out why it happened.
•
Install and commission:
help set up production machine, new equipment, run health checks and join equipment overhauls.
•
Keep good records:
write short, clear reports on the work you have done so the team and the customer can track each machine.
•
Work as a team:
update your colleagues on progress, raise issues early, and handle urgent jobs when they come up.
•
Work safely:
keep your work area clean and follow the site's safety and cleanroom rules.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must have:
•
Fresh graduate ITE Nitec/Diploma
in technical field.
•
< 1 year of hands-on experience
in production equipment maintenance, facilities, or a similar technical role. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Willingness to work 12-hour shifts,
either day or night.
Good to have:
•
Experience
with chillers, aircon or refrigeration systems
,
although we will train you if you have not.
•
Comfort
with basic Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, Outlook) for reports and emails.
•
A curious, can-do attitude
and the confidence to work on your own once trained.
