Salary: SGD $4,000 – $6,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)

Job Description

Hong Guan Renovation Pte Ltd is seeking experienced and hardworking Carpenters to join our renovation team. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out carpentry installation, fabrication and finishing works for residential and commercial renovation projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Carry out carpentry works including fabrication, installation, repair and modification of wooden structures and fittings.

2. Install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, doors, partitions, shelving and other customised carpentry works.

3. Read and interpret drawings, measurements and specifications for carpentry installation.

4. Operate carpentry tools, cutting machines and other equipment safely.

5. Perform cutting, drilling, assembling, laminating and finishing works.

6. Ensure completed carpentry works meet the company's quality and workmanship standards.

7. Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure timely completion of renovation projects.

8. Maintain good housekeeping and comply with workplace safety requirements.

9. Carry out other carpentry-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in carpentry or renovation works preferred.

2. Able to carry out carpentry installation and finishing works independently.

3. Familiar with woodworking tools, machinery and materials.

4. Able to understand basic carpentry drawings and take accurate measurements.

5. Physically fit and able to work at different renovation project sites.

6. Good teamwork, responsible attitude and willingness to follow instructions.

7. Able to work overtime when required, subject to applicable employment regulations.
