Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on server hardware support at client sites
- Perform server installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and hardware replacement
- Diagnose and resolve server hardware issues
- Conduct server health checks and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot hardware components and technical issues
- Support server deployment, upgrades and hardware configuration
- Provide onsite technical support to clients
- Travel to different client sites when required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in server hardware / hardware engineering / technical support
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining servers and server hardware
- Knowledge of server components such as CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, RAID, power supply and other hardware components
- Comfortable providing onsite support and travelling to client sites
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
Experience:
- hardware support: 1 year (Preferred)
- Enterprise hardware product: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
