IGCSEMate (*************) is inviting experienced Cambridge IGCSE examiners, subject teachers and tutors to join our paid specialist review programme.

We’re hiring part-time and fully remote, to guide us on making the marking and learning content in our app as accurate as an IGCSE examiner’s, and to share ideas on anything that would make it better.

About IGCSEMate:

IGCSEMate is a study app for Cambridge IGCSE students, used in 80+ countries and backed by Microsoft for Startups and NVIDIA Inception. Students practise real past paper questions by topic, get their answers marked against the official mark scheme, and learn with an AI tutor that sticks to the syllabus. Teachers can set quizzes to their classes, check the marking, and see where each student is struggling.

We’re looking for a couple experts per subject to make sure every mark and every explanation is one an examiner would stand behind.

What you’d do:

• Guide how we mark: show us how examiners really mark your subject (levels, essays, alternative answers, common traps), so IGCSEMate marks in a similar manner according to Cambridge's standards.
• Mark real student answers yourself, compare your marks with IGCSEMate’s, and tell us where and why they differ, including level-marked and essay questions.
• Check our notes and AI tutor against the current syllabus, topic by topic.
• Flag anything wrong, off the syllabus, or not how examiners want it answered, and suggest how to fix it.
• Use our teacher dashboard as you would with a real class (setting quizzes, checking marks, viewing student progress), and tell us what would make it more useful for teachers.
• Share ideas on anything that would help students or teachers.
• For subjects we’re adding, help us shape how the syllabus is split into topics.

We have a clear review guide, so you’ll know exactly what to do. Work at your own pace, fully remote.

What we’re looking for:

• A Cambridge examiner, or a teacher with years of experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus, in one of the subjects above
• In-depth knowledge of the syllabus: what’s on it, what isn’t, and how answers are marked
• Careful, specific, honest feedback
