- Conduct background research to support both consumer and corporate communications initiatives, including campaigns, platform features, and broader corporate narratives
- Assist in drafting and coordinating communications materials such as press releases, factsheets, media pitches, and internal briefs, under guidance
- Support the team in identifying potential story angles across consumer campaigns, seasonal moments, and corporate initiatives
- Assist with media engagement preparation by compiling media briefs, background materials, and spokesperson information
- Coordinate with internal teams to support communications initiatives, including media opportunities, content collaborations, and events
- Conduct daily media monitoring to track Shopee mentions, industry developments, competitor activity, and emerging topics
- Compile and organise media coverage for reporting purposes, including basic analysis of volume, sentiment, and key themes
- Assist in preparing regular reports and summaries to support campaign reviews and ongoing communications tracking
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of the local media industry and social media platforms
- Deadline-oriented, proactive, and inquisitive, with strong follow-up and reporting skills
- Able to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a creative approach to brainstorming and problem-solving
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Google Suites; experience with Canva and Telum; familiarity with formulas and data organization/analysis in Google Sheets is a plus
- Candidates who can commit to a full-time role for 3–6 months are preferred
