Civil Engineer / Project Engineer

Job Scope & Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination: Plan, implement, and monitor daily work schedules to ensure timely project completion according to client requirements. [1]
• Site Supervision & Management: Supervise on-site construction activities, scaffolding works, and minor structural works, ensuring strict compliance with approved designs and quality standards. [1, 2, 3]
• Technical Drawings & Documentation: Review structural blueprints, fabrication drawings, tender documents, and engineering specifications before executing works on-site. [1]
• Safety Compliance: Oversee workplace safety practices and ensure that all on-site activities strictly adhere to Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) procedures and legal regulations. [1]
• Resource & Budget Optimization: Manage budget constraints, structural resources, construction materials, and manpower allocation to optimize site efficiency. [1]
• Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate effectively with clients, main contractors, architectural representatives, and relevant government authorities (BCA/MOM) regarding structural progression and clearances. [1, 2]
• Progress Reporting: Conduct routine inspection of works, perform basic engineering studies, and generate weekly/monthly progress reports for management review.
