ZManpower is a Singapore-based events manpower company and the crew behind some of the country's biggest live events. From the Singapore Grand Prix to concerts at the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium, our teams build the show before the lights go up and take it down after the crowds go home. We supply skilled crew for MICE and large-scale special events, specialising in audio, video and lighting.
The Role
As a Stagehand / Stage Technician, you'll be part of the crew that loads in, builds, runs and dismantles live events. You'll work alongside experienced crew chiefs and technicians on concerts, exhibitions, conferences and touring productions.
Responsibilities
Load in and load out equipment, including staging, audio, video and lighting gear
Assist with assembling and dismantling stages, sets, truss and backline
Support audio, video and lighting technicians with setup, cabling and focusing
Handle and transport equipment safely, including working with forklift and MEWP operators
Follow crew chief instructions and keep work areas tidy and safe
Comply with WSH regulations, venue rules and company safety procedures
Requirements
Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods
Willing to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and public holidays
Comfortable working at height (for certain roles)
Punctual, reliable and a strong team player
Able to follow instructions and stay calm under pressure during live shows
No experience needed; we'll train you on the job
Singaporeans/PRs preferred
Good to Have
Previous experience in events, concerts or exhibitions
Basic knowledge of audio, video or lighting equipment
WSH or Building Construction Supervisor certification, Work-at-Height certificate, or MEWP/forklift licence
Own transport
