About the Role

The Manager, Product Management plans, organizes, and implements marketing activities in line with department marketing objectives for DKSH's Healthcare business in Malaysia, integrating directions from brand clients and local requirements across advertising and promotions, product management, and trade marketing. This is a 6-month contract role that offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to brand growth and client success across a dynamic portfolio.

What You Will Deliver

• Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) of appointed agencies within the assigned portfolio, ensuring yearly preset objectives are met through the execution of sound marketing strategies and plans
• Execute the approved Marketing Working Budget (MWB), optimizing allocated funds to build brand awareness and drive brand sell-through effectively
• Continuously strengthen mutually beneficial trading relationships with clients by enhancing value and consistently meeting agreed objectives
• Resourcefully gather market trends, market share data, and competitive information to gauge the effectiveness of marketing activities and inform strategic planning
• Ensure an optimum balance across all marketing activities, including: -
• • Brand building exercises such as media advertising, Public Relations (PR) and event sponsorships, product launches, and sampling
• • Product and category education through internal and external product training and webinars
• • Trade marketing activities including Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) deployment, promoters, fixtures, display stands, planograms, and trade campaigns
• • Consumer marketing initiatives such as sampling, bundle buys, gift-with-purchase, and digital and e-commerce platforms
• Translate marketing activities into measurable increases in sell-through and strengthened market share
• Ensure all marketing activities are within the allocated Advertising and Promotions (A&P) budget determined for relevant agencies
• Ensure pre-financing of marketing activities on behalf of clients is recovered within agreed terms
• Liaise closely with clients to secure full or partial funding for ad-hoc marketing activities
• Work closely with the sales team on retailer trading terms negotiations to ensure trade investments and expected sales returns are in line with department profit objectives
• Serve as the custodian of the brand's image at retail level, determining and upholding merchandising standards
• Study and determine the most effective and cost-implementable form of POSM to raise product visibility and highlight product Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) in trade
• Conduct and make available scheduled product training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Degree in any field
• Experience in the Healthcare industry is an added advantage
• Willingness to travel as required by the scope of the role
• Openness to a 6-month contract engagement
