Clinical care
- Take histories, examine, diagnose and treat patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions.
- Manage common chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, asthma) using Malaysian Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Order and interpret basic investigations: blood tests, urinalysis, ECG and point-of-care tests.
- Prescribe and dispense medicines safely, following the Poisons Act 1952 and the clinic's dispensing SOP.
- Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when needed, with clear referral letters.
Emergency and on-call
- Stabilise emergency cases (chest pain, asthma attacks, anaphylaxis, trauma) and arrange safe transfer to hospital.
- Lead basic and advanced life support when required.
- Cover AM, PM and on-call shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays per the roster.
Panel, corporate and administrative work
- Handle panel and insurance (TPA) patients, including guarantee letters and claims documentation.
- Conduct medical check-ups, pre-employment and FOMEMA-type examinations where the clinic is registered.
- Issue medical certificates (MC), time slips and medical reports accurately and ethically.
Documentation and compliance
- Keep complete, legible and timely clinical records in the clinic's system.
- Report notifiable diseases to the district health office as required by the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.
- Follow infection control, clinical waste and patient confidentiality (PDPA 2010) procedures.
extensive surgical experience is a bonus!
Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
