About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Science Project Assistant Intern to support our teachers in delivering engaging, hands-on science and project-based learning activities for children aged 3–6.
Interns will assist with preparing and conducting simple science experiments, creative projects, and interactive activities that encourage young children to explore, observe, ask questions, and develop an interest in the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
- assist teachers in planning and conducting age-appropriate science and project activities.
- Support children during hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and creative projects.
- Prepare and organise science materials, experiment equipment, and classroom resources.
- Help set up and clean up activities before and after each session.
- Encourage children to participate, explore, ask questions, and share their observations.
- Provide individual support to children who may need additional guidance during activities.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Observe children's participation and provide feedback to the teacher when appropriate.
- Assist with documenting children's project work, experiments, and learning activities.
- Follow all classroom safety and child safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Science, Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Enjoys working with young children aged 3–6.
- Patient, caring, responsible, and enthusiastic.
- Comfortable conducting or assisting with simple science experiments and hands-on activities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to learn and take initiative.
- Previous experience working with children is an advantage but not essential.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
