Your new role

As a Senior Category Manager, you are responsible for the following:

• Develop and execute global category strategies for electronics and mechanical components.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage strategic contractual agreements.
• Oversee supplier performance, capacity planning, risk, cost and quality improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations and alternative sourcing.
• Drive strategic projects to strengthen supply continuity, quality and delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong commercial acumen
• Possess at least 10-15 years of relevant experience in procurement and category management
• Industry experience in the manufacturing sector
• Strong contract negotiation, strategic sourcing and senior-level stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with top level stakeholders including suppliers
• Must have experience in managing complex electronics / mechanical categories
• Handling PCB is an added advantage
