Full Time Area Manager Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in JONKER CASING HAUS Melaka - Maukerja

This role oversees the overall sales performance and operations of 2-3 retail outlets across Melaka. Working closely with management, you will drive sales growth, lead retail teams, maintain operational standards, and ensure all outlets operate efficiently and profitably.

We are looking for a hands-on retail leader who understands retail operations from A to Z. Beyond managing daily operations, you should be able to analyse performance, solve problems, establish effective SOPs, and build systems that ensure consistency and accountability across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & KPI Management: Monitor outlet sales, set targets with management, track KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement action plans to achieve business objectives.

Multi-Outlet Operations: Oversee daily operations across 2-3 outlets, conduct regular outlet visits, maintain store standards, and resolve operational issues.

SOP Development & Compliance: Develop, document, implement, and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, and operational controls. Conduct regular audits, address compliance gaps, and ensure consistent execution across all outlets.

People Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and develop outlet managers and staff. Manage manpower planning, staff performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters.

Inventory & Stock Control: Oversee stock movement, replenishment, stocktaking, and inventory accuracy while minimising discrepancies and stock losses.

Performance Reporting & Analysis: Review sales and operational reports, evaluate outlet performance, and provide management with actionable insights and improvement plans.

Business Improvement & Coordination: Identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and operational efficiency. Communicate company objectives clearly and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure effective execution.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of retail management experience, preferably in multi-outlet operations.
• Proven experience developing and implementing SOPs and operational systems.
• Strong understanding of sales targets, KPIs, inventory control, and retail operations.
• Experience in leadership, training, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and hold teams accountable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and performance tracking.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to travel between outlets within Melaka; own transport preferred.
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
