Responsibilities
Position: Senior Badminton Coach
Salary: $3,400 to $4,000 /month + $200 Transport Allowance
Working Arrangement: 6-day work week
Location: Multiple venues across Singapore
Employment Type: Full-time (1-year renewable contract)
Responsibilities
Conduct group and one-to-one badminton coaching sessions for kids, youth, and competitive players to improve skills and performance
Develop and implement training programmes aligned with academy standards to enhance player development
Manage class administration including attendance tracking and monitoring student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
Mentor junior coaches by providing guidance and feedback to maintain coaching quality and discipline
Assist in preparing events, grading tests, and organising holiday programmes to support academy activities
Maintain clear and positive communication with parents, students, and management to foster strong relationships
Required competencies and certifications
Demonstrate a strong badminton foundation with experience as a national player, state-level player, or competitive background
Possess a minimum of 2–3 years of coaching experience to effectively train and develop players
Maintain physical fitness to perform coaching duties safely and effectively
Exhibit responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to the long-term development of students
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Hold coaching certification such as BWF, SBA, or relevant association credentials
Communicate effectively with children and youth to engage and motivate players
