Finance Associate | Petaling Jaya | 12-Month Contract

Our client, a leading insurance organisation, is looking for a Finance Associate to join their team on a 12-month contract based in Petaling Jaya. This role offers solid hands-on exposure across accounts receivable, reconciliation and financial reporting within a professional, structured environment.

The Role

Supporting the regional finance function across AR and reporting activities, you will:

• Process accurate and timely receipts in line with agreed service levels
• Reconcile bank statements, investigate discrepancies and resolve unapplied or unidentified cash items
• Support month-end closing activities, management reporting and audit-related queries
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and financial regulations
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and support system enhancements and UAT activities
• Build effective working relationships between Finance and Business Unit Finance teams

What We're Looking For

You'll be a strong fit if you have:

• 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounts receivable or a related function
• Familiarity with reconciliation processes, internal controls and audit requirements
• An understanding of general insurance accounting or financial services is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Good communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
