The role

You will be the senior client lead for our Indonesian accounts. You run the relationship, protect the work, and keep the commercials healthy. Most of the client conversation happens in Bahasa Indonesia, so you will need to be as sharp in it as you are in English.

You will sit between the client, our creative team and our production partners, and report to the Managing Director. You lead a small account team and you help us win the next piece of business.

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day relationship with senior client stakeholders in Indonesia, in Bahasa and English, and be the person they call first.
• Turn client objectives into clear briefs and push the team to answer them with bold, well-made ideas.
• Run the account commercially: scopes, fees, retainers, forecasts and burn. Make sure out-of-scope work gets billed.
• Lead and mentor Account Managers and Senior Account Managers. Review their decks, proposals and deliverables before they go out.
• Work with creative, strategy and production, and with our specialist partners, to deliver on time and at the standard we promised.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and post-campaign reviews, and show the client what the work actually did.
• Find the next opportunity inside existing accounts, and help the founders with pitches and proposals.
• Bring AI production into client work where it makes it faster or better, and help clients understand why.
• Step in first when scope, timing or delivery goes wrong, and fix it calmly.

What we need

• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English, spoken and written. You will present, negotiate and write in both with Indonesian clients.
• At least 6-8 years in account leadership at a creative, digital or integrated advertising agency.
• A track record handling large client portfolios and senior stakeholders, including marketing heads and C-suite.
• Real commercial skill: agency P&L, retainers, scopes, fees and contract negotiation.
• Experience leading and developing account teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

It helps if you have

• Experience on regional or Indonesian technology, gaming or digital platform accounts.
• Hands-on familiarity with generative AI tools in content production.
• A strong network of brand leaders and industry partners in Indonesia and the wider region.
