Job Description
Responsibilities
We are an established regional healthcare provider committed to delivering quality, patient-centred healthcare services across a comprehensive range of medical specialties in Singapore. We are looking for a Staff Nurse (Scrub) to be part of the Day Surgery team.
Key responsibilities:
Perform perioperative assessment of patient for surgery.
Competent in performing surgical scrub or circulating for surgeries. (General surgery, Orthopaedic, ENT, Urology)
Execute proper use, care, and handling of surgical equipment to ensure safety of operating staff and patient.
Knowledge in Infection control, aseptic and sterile technique assisting in surgery.
Ensured operating rooms are adequately prepared prior to the commencement of scheduled cases.
Ensure adequate availability of surgical consumables and supplies by conducting regular stock checks, replenishing depleted items and maintaining sufficient inventory to support uninterrupted operating theatre operations.
Other ah-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience preferably in multi discipline set up.
Candidate with Operating Theatre and Scrub Trained experience will be an advantage.
Previous experience in multi discipline Day surgery setting is an advantage.
High motivation, ability to work in team and fast paced environment
Good communication skills
Organized
Adaptable and willing to learn new skills
Problem solving and critical thinking
Able to work stagger hours:
Mondays to Fridays – 8.00am to 5.00pm
Saturdays – 8.00am to 12.30pm
