Full Time Prep Cook Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,450 in Sodexo Malaysia Selangor - Maukerja

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Cook, preferably in a catering, restaurant, hotel, or canteen environment.

Able to prepare and cook local/National cuisine according to the required menu and standards.

Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, portion control, and food safety.

Able to work independently and as part of a kitchen team.

Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Good hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen discipline.

Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Relevant food handling certification/training will be an advantage.

Prepare and cook food according to the daily menu, recipes, and required standards.

Ensure food is prepared with consistent quality, taste, and presentation.

Perform food preparation such as cutting, washing, marinating, seasoning, and portioning.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature control of food ingredients.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and work area.

Monitor food stock and inform the supervisor of any shortage or quality issues.

Follow company food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.

Assist the kitchen team with daily operations and other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Chef.

Minimize food wastage and ensure proper portion control.

Support smooth and timely meal preparation and service.
