Hannari Sushi Kappou Fine Dining is looking for a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Japanese restaurant, preferably in sushi preparation.
Ability to communicate in Japanese or Mandarin is preferred.
Willing to learn and continuously improve skills.
Hardworking, responsible, disciplined, and able to work well in a team.
Passionate about Japanese cuisine and hospitality.
Responsibilities
Assist chefs with ingredient preparation and food preparation.
Clean, cut, and portion ingredients according to the chef's instructions.
Assist with sushi preparation and plating.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
Wash kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Organise and store ingredients properly according to food safety requirements.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages when necessary.
Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
