Role Description The Quality Assurance Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Gelang Patah, supporting the quality management activities of aerospace fabrication projects. This role involves assisting in the inspection of parts and components, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and Aerospace Standard 9100 requirements. The Quality Assurance Assistant will help prepare and maintain quality documentation, records, and reports, and support internal audits and corrective actions. Daily tasks include collaborating with production and engineering teams to address non-conformities, verifying that work instructions are followed, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires careful attention to detail, consistent application of quality procedures, and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with the ability to support inspection activities and compliance checks.
  • Experience or knowledge in Quality Management, including maintaining quality records and assisting with audits and corrective actions.
  • Strong Analytical Skills to review data, identify trends or issues, and support problem-solving in production processes.
  • Effective Communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, report findings clearly, and follow up on quality-related actions.
  • Relevant technical or vocational qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; exposure to aerospace or precision fabrication is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ISO or aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100) and basic understanding of inspection tools and measurement techniques.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gelang Patah, manage time efficiently, and uphold safety and quality practices in a manufacturing environment.
