Role Description This is a full-time, on-site postgraduate research opportunity based in Kampar, Perak, offering fully funded Master’s and PhD positions in Generative AI and Computer Vision with a monthly stipend. Candidates will conduct original research in areas such as deep learning, generative models, and visual recognition, design and implement experiments, and develop prototypes or algorithms that contribute to cutting-edge applications. Daily responsibilities include literature review, data collection and preprocessing, model development and evaluation, documentation of research findings and preparation of publications for conferences and journals. Candidates will collaborate with supervisors and research teams, participate in seminars and lab meetings and may support teaching, mentoring, or outreach activities related to AI and computer vision.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, data science, or a closely related field, with a relevant Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s entry) or Master’s degree (for PhD entry).
• Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning, including experience with neural networks, model training, and evaluation for vision or generative tasks.
• Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, C++), and familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Ability to conduct independent research: literature review, problem formulation, experiment design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, particularly in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization relevant to AI and computer vision.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present research clearly and contribute to publications.
• Demonstrated motivation for postgraduate study, ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, and openness to learning new methods and tools.
• Prior research experience, peer-reviewed publications, or project work in generative AI, computer
