Technical Sales Executive

Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia | Full-time

Verion Malaysia is looking for a Technical Sales Executive to develop new business and grow customer relationships in agricultural machinery and precision agriculture, with a particular focus on oil palm plantations.

This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who enjoys visiting customers, understands agricultural operations and can turn customer needs into sales opportunities.

What you will do

• Identify new customers and develop relationships with plantations, agricultural contractors and equipment distributors.
• Visit customers, understand their operational needs and present suitable Verion solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate within approved terms and follow opportunities through to closing.
• Organise and participate in equipment demonstrations, supported by our technical team.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide consistent customer follow-up.

What we are looking for

• Three to five years of commercial experience in the agricultural sector, including sales to oil palm plantations and sales of agricultural machinery or equipment.
• Practical understanding of plantation operations and agricultural equipment applications.
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within Malaysia.
• A relevant technical or business qualification is preferred; candidates with strong practical experience will also be considered.

An established industry network and experience with precision agriculture technology are advantages.

Travel and driving requirements

A valid driving licence is required. The position involves frequent travel throughout Malaysia and Indonesia to visit oil palm plantations and customers, develop business opportunities and participate in agricultural equipment demonstrations. Candidates must be willing and available to travel regularly in both countries.
