Freelance Primary Maths Teacher (P1–P3) starting 2027

S$50–S$70 per teaching hour | Flexible part-time opportunity

We are a growing maths enrichment programme looking for an experienced primary maths educator to teach small-group classes for Primary 1 and Primary 3 students.

This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys helping children build strong mathematical understanding, develop problem-solving skills and gain confidence in maths.

You may apply to teach either one class or more classes, depending on your availability and experience.

Teaching Opportunities

• P3 Maths: Fridays, 3:15–5 pm
• P1 Maths: Saturdays, 8:45–10:15 am
• P1 Maths: Sundays, 8:45-10:15 am
• P2 Maths: Sundays, 10:15-11:45am

Each class is 90 minutes and conducted in person at our enrichment centre.

Additional Opportunity: Curriculum Development

For candidates interested in curriculum design, there is also an opportunity to help develop our new P3 maths programme, including:

• Creating a term-by-term scheme of work
• Developing worksheets and teacher materials
• Incorporating the model method and problem-solving heuristics
• Aligning lessons with the current Singapore MOE Primary Maths syllabus

Curriculum development is optional and separately remunerated, with the scope and payment agreed upfront.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of the Singapore MOE Primary Maths syllabus
• Experience teaching primary maths, particularly P1–P3
• Good understanding of the model method and problem-solving heuristics
• A warm, engaging teaching style and the ability to explain concepts clearly
• Ability to plan lessons and develop learning materials independently, if undertaking curriculum-development work

NIE-trained and former MOE teachers are strongly preferred.
