Job Summary

Join The Orthodontic Clinic as a Dental Assistant to support dentists during procedures, maintain clinical hygiene, assist patients, and manage clinic operations. Experienced nurses needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient chairside assistance to dentists for general dentistry and orthodontic procedures.

  Anticipate the dentist's needs and prepare instruments and materials in advance.

• Maintain strict infection control, sterilisation and hygiene standards.

• Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared before and after every patient.

• Assist with patient care and provide a professional and pleasant patient experience.

• Monitor dental instruments, equipment and consumables, ensuring proper stock management.

• Handle clinic administrative duties, including patient appointments, registration and payment collection

• Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of patient records.

  Work closely with dentists, nurses and front desk staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Take responsibility for assigned duties and ensure tasks are completed promptly and accurately.

  Requirement:

• Must be responsible, disciplined, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be proactive, attentive and able to anticipate the needs of dentists.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.
• Must be willing to learn, accept feedback and adapt to changes.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be meticulous and able to follow instructions and clinic protocols accurately.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required.
• Dental assisting experience is preferred.
