Construction Engineer (Topside)

We are seeking a Construction Engineer (Topside) to support a FPSO Project. This role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing topside construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and technically compliant execution throughout fabrication, refurbishment, modification, installation, mechanical completion, and system handover phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide construction engineering support and execution oversight for FPSO topside works.
• Coordinate and supervise multidisciplinary construction activities, including inspection, refurbishment, modification, replacement, reinstallation, and reinstatement of topside facilities.
• Review inspection findings and collaborate with Engineering and Client teams to develop repair strategies and practical construction methodologies.
• Review construction drawings, work packs, method statements, and technical documentation to support site execution.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, and Commissioning teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, and resource utilization, ensuring alignment with project schedules and milestones.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FPSO, FPU, offshore platform fabrication, refurbishment, brownfield modifications, or topside construction projects.
• Experience in at least two offshore oil & gas facility projects.
• FPSO project experience is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, installation, and offshore construction methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer, Practicing Certificate, or membership with a recognized professional body is an advantage.
