Full Time Design - Tooling Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in SME Aerospace Selangor - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage Packages of Work:

• Report progress as required to stakeholders, including customers.
• Ensure work is completed within the project budget and financial constraints.

2. Customer Liaison:

• Act as the primary contact for customers on tool-related matters.
• Gather and understand customer requirements, ensuring compliance in tooling designs and processes.

3. Support Tool Design Activities:

• Design with cost in mind, considering material and method.
• Ensure drawings comply with SME Aerospace and customer requirements.
• Incorporate alterations resulting from changes in tool manufacture into drawings.

4. Support Tool Manufacture Activities:

• Ensure tooling is manufactured using the most cost-effective methods.

5. Meetings and Actions:

• Attend internal and external meetings as necessary.

6. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote a culture of safety.

7. Cost-Saving and Environmental Activities:

• Support initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and risk management to drive cost savings and environmental benefits.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of tooling designs, revisions, and project progress.

9. Other Duties:

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Tooling Team Leader or Department Manager.

Qualification & Experiences required:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Aeronautic / Aerospace / Mechanical or manufacturing is preferred.
• Proven ability to design and/or manufacture tooling.
• Preffered with 1-2 years or more in metal base manufacturing.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
