Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team. The successful candidate will help coordinate the accounting team, ensure timely month-end closing using SAP, maintain accurate financial records and oversee stock control. This role is suitable for someone with a solid accounting foundation who is ready to take on greater responsibility, with guidance from senior management.

We welcome candidates who are practical, organised and willing to take ownership of their work. You should be comfortable working with accounting systems and reports, following up on outstanding matters and highlighting issues that require management's attention.

Key Responsibilities

•      Coordinate the accounting functions, working closely with the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and purchasing teams.

•      Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing using SAP.

•      Review accounting entries, reconciliations and financial records for accuracy and completeness.

•      Prepare monthly management reports and highlight significant variances or discrepancies.

•      Monitor stock balances, inventory movements and stock reconciliation between SAP records and physical stock.

•      Investigate stock discrepancies and identify slow-moving, excess or obsolete inventory.

•      Liaise with warehouse, purchasing and other departments to resolve accounting and stock-related issues.

•      Assist with audit preparation, tax documentation and compliance matters.

•      Improve accounting procedures, reporting processes and internal controls where necessary.

Qualifications

•      Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

•      3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

•      Hands-on experience in month-end closing and general ledger accounting.

•      SAP experience is strongly preferred.

•      Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

•      Experience in inventory accounting or stock control is an advantage.

•      Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

•      Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

•      Responsible, proactive, meticulous and able to meet deadlines.

•      Able to coordinate with different departments and work independently on assigned tasks.
