Role Summary

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Account and Finance Executive who can independently manage full-set accounts, costing, inventory accuracy and financial reporting. You must be someone who not only records numbers, but interprets them, connects trends, and provides clarity for business decisions.

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles

• Proven capability in full-set accounts & month-end closing

• Hands-on experience in inventory costing & COGS computation

• Experience in reconciling multi-channel sales (Shopee/TikTok/Lazada/POS)

• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting & analysis

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail/e-commerce environment

• Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin

• Proficient in SQL / AutoCount / Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Formulas)

Added Advantage

• Experience improving accounting workflow/SOP & cycle time

• Exposure to expansion, new branch setup, stock discrepancy audits

• Power BI/dashboard knowledge for financial visualization

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Compliance

• Handle full-set accounts independently (AR/AP/GL/Bank Reconciliation)

• Prepare monthly financial statements — P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow

• Complete month-end closing within targeted deadline (5th–7th of every month)

• Ensure compliance with SST, EPF, SOCSO, PCB & annual audit requirements

Inventory & Costing Control

• Calculate accurate Landed Cost / COGS including freight, duty & packaging

• Monitor inventory movement, variance, shrinkage & system adjustment

• Perform stock reconciliation against system, PO, GRN & physical count

• Generate stock aging / slow-moving reports with actionable insights

E-Commerce Multi-Channel Reconciliation

• Reconcile sales & settlement from Shopee / TikTok / Lazada / Website / POS

• Verify platform fees, commission, campaign rebates & payout cycles

• Prepare profitability breakdown by platform, SKU & category

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Conduct variance, margin & cost structure analysis

• Track GP%, NP%, cashflow health & operating expense control

• Highlight risks + opportunities and recommend improvement actions

• Support budgeting, forecasting and expansion finance planning
