Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance work

Previous experience in maintenance, handyman, or similar role.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks (lifting, climbing, etc.)

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Basic communication skills (English/Malay)

Responsible, punctual, and reliable

Perform routine maintenance and repair works in guest rooms and hotel facilities

Fix electrical issues such as lighting, switches, and minor wiring problems

Handle plumbing repairs including leaks, clogged drains, and pipe issues

Repair furniture, doors, locks, and fixtures

Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff

Ensure all work is completed safely and meets hotel standards

Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Assist in setting up for events or moving equipment when needed

Report major repair issues to the maintenance supervisor
