High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience working as a Lathe & Milling Operator or similar machine operating role would be an advantage.

Basic understanding of machining operations, tooling, and measuring instruments.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Must have the ability to work in a team environment and take direction.

Handle material in and out of a lathe & milling machine according to specific procedures and guidelines.

Operate the machine effectively and correctly to produce parts to the required specification for the job.

Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work-pieces for cutting or shaping.

Set-up and adjust machine controls, speeds, and feed rates to achieve the desired results.

Inspect and measure finished workpieces to ensure that specifications are met.

Clean and maintain equipment, tools and the general work area.

Document production and keep logs or reports of materials, parts produced and inspection results.
