Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in handling full set accounts.

  • Candidates with accounting firm experience will have an added advantage.

  • Familiar with SQL Accounting software, e-Invoice system, SST, and Malaysian tax regulations.

  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and good analytical skills.

  • Proficient in Mandarin is preferred as the role requires communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

  • Basic English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills are required.

  • Experienced candidates are preferred.

  • ACCA / MICPA / CPA qualification is an added advantage.

  • Experience in payroll and statutory compliance.

  • Familiar with MFRS and Malaysia tax practices.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, General Ledger, and bank reconciliation.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and year-end closing.

  • Manage invoicing, payment processing, and cash flow monitoring.

  • Prepare and submit SST, corporate tax, PCB, and other statutory requirements.

  • Assist in audit and tax matters, including liaising with external auditors and tax agents.

  • Process payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and payroll-related documentation.

  • Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations.

  • Perform data entry and accounting tasks using SQL Accounting or related accounting software.

  • Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc assignments.
