Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Candidates undergoing degree or masters in respective Universities in Malaysia are encouraged to apply

  • Internship duration for at least 3 months - 6 months depending on your faculty requirement

  • Interest in cranes, logistics, heavy lifting and project execution

  • Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a bonus

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage as you will need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.

  • Required Skill(s): Engineering Design, Heavy Equipment Operation, Communication, Project Management, Risk Assessment

  • Candidates must be willing to commute and intern in Port Klang, Selangor.

Responsibilities

  • As a Graduate Engineer, you will support our operations team in executing heavy lifting and transport works across construction, oil & gas, port and industrial sectors. This role offers practical site experience, technical training and career growth opportunities within Malaysia’s leading crane and heavy equipment service provider.

  • Assist in planning lifting operations, equipment selection and load studies

  • Prepare basic lifting plans, method statements and risk assessments

  • Coordinate crane and trailer mobilization with logistics and site teams

  • Conduct site visits and assist with technical inspections and site assessments

  • Communicate with clients, site supervisors and internal departments

  • Support maintenance and workshop teams with engineering input

  • Prepare documentation such as equipment logs, technical reports and schedules

  • Learn crane load charts, rigging calculations and transport route planning
